MY 17 MOUTH OLD HAS RECENTLY STOPPED DRINKING MILK BOTH FORMALAR AND NORMAL..SHE JUST DOES NOT WANT TO KNOW.SHE DRINKS PLENTY OF WATER AND EATS A GOOD MIXTURE IS THIS NORMAL...
Have you tried adding flavoring to the milk? Maybe she just does not like the taste. Yogurt and cheese also provide protein and calcium.
Don't worry if your baby not taking milk you can give him/her other supplements. Or you can go to your Doctor for the same.
Milk is not as important at her age as long as she is still taking some kind of dairy products such as cheese and yoghurt, mainly for their protein calcium content but also things like vitamin D. If she is eating a good variety of foods and drinking plenty water to prevent dehydration, then I wouldn't worry too much. Talk it over with your health advisor if you are still worried. As stepmom says, flavouring the milk might help. If possible, use flavouring which doesn't contain sugar or artificial ingredients. You could also try substitutes such as soya milk or goats milk.
