i have a step daughter. the relation between her and i have not been the greatest. now she is a mother of three. she helps me out a lot with my children. she is like the daugher i never had.

Welcome to the boards.  It is great that you have a good relationship with your step-daughter now.  My step-mother and I have a good relationship now after many years of just not understanding each other, I guess.

 

It is nice to be able to understand each other better and be able to talk and depend on each other.
