My name is Patty and I am taking an education course which specifically focuses on special education. I was hoping there may be someone (or a multitude of persons) who would be interested in sharing their stories about parenting a child with special needs. I am interested in the feelings you experienced upon finding out that your child has special needs, how those feelings have evolved, and what effects it may have on your day-to-day life.
