Back to school

I have an 8 year old that has been an absolute perferct child for the past month. No attitude issues, been helping around the house and even helping in the kitchen. School started on 8/23 and everything has been fine until last night. He loves playing his DS and I told him to put it down for awhile and he had a complete meltdown. Started kicking, screaming and crying. I sent him to his room where he continued to throw all of his blankets and pillows on the floor. When I went to get him for supper he was sleeping. I know when school schedules start it can make kids tired because they are used to sleeping in, however he actually gets 15 minutes more sleep when school is in. We had a tough time last year with his attitude but once shool was out he was totally different. He likes his teachers, is a good student and doesn't have any bully problems. Why does the attitude come back with school?

He could be allergic to a cleaning product at the school. Try giving him an antihistamine.

He could have anxiety about crowds or about some other thing at school.

He could be doing what mine tried and that is what my friends say and do at home i will get away with.

Or he is being builled and showing you the rage he wants to do to his attackers but cant.
Have you spoke to his class teacher? Hope this helps.
