Hey jsf418
Welcome to the boards. I think that you have to talk to your child about pushing and about how it hurts other children. You need to talk to her about how we act sweet and don't hurt others. In addition to this, you need to have a punishment for everytime she pushes that will make her see how serious you are about her not pushing. For example, she can't play with her favorite toy or something like that when she pushes. Or whatever you think would get her attention the most.
Anyone else have any other ideas?

Thanks. We have those conversations all the time!!! I know that she understands she should not do it, and I have really been paying attention and watching what sets her off. She does not push other kids to be mean or just at random. I notice she does it when they are not communicating back to her. My daughter is very verbal, and I notice that when other children are not responding to her, she gets frustrated and sometimes will push. We are working on this and giving her other ways of handling her frustration and we are interfering when we see that it is not working for her! The joys of toddler hood- thanks for the advice!!!
