Mother’s Day is going to be here before you know it! In honor of the special day, what is the best (or most important) thing you have learned from your mom? Your response might be used for our special Mother’s Day slideshow!

I think the best quality I've gotten from my mom is to be kind to others. We were raised to never judge others by the color of their skin, the amount of money that they make, or their own personal beliefs. Everyone is unique, and that's what makes us interesting. I always try to find the good in people. My mom always said treat others as you'd want to be treated. This is so true. By showing others kindness, they very often will reciprocate that same kindness. I certainly want my children to carry out this quality through their lives. What a happier world we would have if everyone could be like this.

The best thing ive learnt off my mum is to have pateince. I was a teen mum and had split up with my sons father while i was pregnant. I would always say to my mum that my life is over now and ill never find anybody who wants me and my son, she would always say give it time, you need a little patience and now thanks to my patience ive found a lovely bloke who loves me and loves my son. She has taught me so much over the years and im gratefull for every bit of advice she has given me
