Father's Day is right around the corner. Are you planning on having your kids make something for your hubby or are you purchasing something? Also what are you planning on giving your father?

We usually do a combination of making something and buying a gift.
My daughter makes breakfast in bed and a card or something like that--we have also done a combo where we went to one of those pottery places and she made her daddy a mug with her art on it--so she made it but we had to buy it.
For my father, I usually take him to lunch one day and also look for a book that I think he would really love. I love to gift books because we are big readers in my family.
What is everyone else planning on doing for Father's Day this year?

Riding on the beach in our new (to us) Jeep, going surf fishing, cooking dinner (he usually fixes ALL our meals) and a delux back rub!
Both our fathers have passed away since last Father's Day so this will be a difficult year for our family.

My boys made their dad cards and a small craft. They also made something for their grandpa. For my husband, I got him a CD and a T-shirt. For my dad, we got him a gift certificate. We all had dinner together at our house. It was a nice day despite the rainy weather.
