Problems with homeschooling

Hi everyone,

I am a university student in a product design program and I am working on a project to design a product to help homeschooling parents and/or homeschooled children. I was hoping I could ask all of you a few questions.

I'm interested in hearing about:

Why did you chose to homeschool your child or children?

In what ways do you think homeschooling can be improved?

What kind of product would help you or your child?

Please know that I have nothing against homeschooling. I am only asking about the problem areas because those are the areas I would be designing for. I am not going to design for the areas that you think are working because, well, "If it's not broken, don't fix it".

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thank-you in advance

With years of research as a teacher, I have managed to gather some experience with child behavior and psychology, especially with homeschoolers and children suffering from ADHD or dyslexia. To answer your questions :

There are many benefits to homeschooling. First off, you can provide individual attention to your child. Second, you can have the freedom to choose and select the best curriculum and activities.Third, you can retain some financial freedom. Here is a great video that outlines some homeschooling benefits -
