I am looking for advice on which curriculum to use for a 4th grade girl. I would like to put together my own group of different products and need your opinions which are the best in each area of education.

I like free resources. See if your state education office offers lesson plans online, mine does. I only paid for a math program and a "typing" program. Literature, I bought a sample lesson guide from a store that has a home-schooling section, and the student developed her own lesson guides for the library books that we used.

Sorry, I don't have any experience with pre-packaged curriculum. This year my kids were in grades 2 and 3. We mostly used books from the library, free internet worksheets and a few books from Barnes and Noble. Before the year began I sat down and decided what I wanted to teach and when I wanted to teach it. Then before each lesson began, I gathered the materials we would be using. This worked well for us. I hope someone comes along who can answer your question a little better than I have.
