Grandparents and family vacation

My parents keep asking to go with us to Disneyland. My husband and I have discussed this and feel that a major family vacation to such a bing event park should just be for us and our children the first time we go. Are we being unreasonable? We know that given our family's personalities if my folkes were to go with us that my husband and I would just be Sherpas and they would dominate the trip. We keep putting them off with their continued requests to go to this park. Our kids are young, under six, and this has been our primary excuse for not going. Alittle advice from a neutral party would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Calliope

I wouldn't take a child under age 5 to Disneyland. There are a lot of rides that are more fun when you are older.

Also, I'd love to have extra eyes/hands along to help keep track of kids--Somebody to take a little one to the bathroom when the rest are going on a ride, stuff like that.

But, it's your vacation. If you need a vacation from the grandparents instead of a vacation with the grandparents, it's your call.
