My friend has adopted all of her 4 children, each with distinct personalities and issues. Her 7 yr old we will call him M. has recently had a big change in his behavior, about 2 weeks ago he started screaming and yelling " I WANT TO GO TO WALMART " every night at the same time( about 10pm till 2a ), he will hide under her table and rock bck and forth just a little while screaming. She told me about this yesterday and I told her I would help in any way I could. She called me last night while he was having one of his episodes and proceeded to put few items in a walmart bag and brought them over. This seemed to calm him for the time being, I noticed when I got there his whole little body was clenched up tight and he was breathing heavy, screming i want to go to walmart. he calmed as I spoke to him and asked him what it was he loved about the store and he cannot pinpoint one thing, nor when she has taken him( only at her wits end ) does he know what he wants. She is doing this all on her own and he needs as much help as she can get.
