Making time to talk about not smoking pays off

In today's world, we are beyond busy. It seems that we go from one activity to another, and try as we might, finding the time to sit down and talk with our children is difficult. But, when it comes to keeping our kids from smoking, communication is key. Studies show that parents have more influence than they think regarding keeping their kids from smoking.

More than 1000 kids start smoking each day.

Please make time to talk to yours!

My Dad smoked until I was 5 years old. When my children were about 10, he wrote all the grandchildren a letter encouraging them to stay smoke- and chew-free. It certainly didn't hurt!
