What are some nice gifts for kids at low price?

One of my friends suggested an ebook for children - Fun with Mathematics by Sumita Bose. It is available at Amazon for only $3. She said it can be read on a computer. It is full of magic, puzzles, games etc.

How about an actual, physical standard deck of cards. Great for fun with the family, you can try building a house of cards, and it's also good for developing 'number sense' when you play war.

Here is nice holiday gift for families with elementary school gifts a newly released animated movie. It was self produced by friends of mine and my kids loved it.
