Anyone have good gift ideas for a two year old?
I always bought my sons books for Christmas (and as often as possible). I started reading to each of them as young as six weeks, and I'm proud of the fact that my oldest son (now 6) started reading at age 4.
Whatever you get him or her, let the child take all the time needed to open and play with each gift. My 21 year old, when 2 years old, unwrapped a xylophone and played with it for over an hour, then unwrapped the next gift. Give the gift of time.
