child mental health

i was wandering if anyone could offer me some advice. I am getting really worried about my sons behaviour. He hass aspergers and tourettes but i cant quite put my finger on it but i think there is definitely something else.he jumps on other kids, he says completely inappropriate conversations. I am scared that he has some underlying mental health issue that the camms team havent spotted. When i got his diagnosis, they said he isnt a clear cut case so they will just keep seeing him, but still i have no explanation. He seems obsessed with death and other tabboo subjects. And is also saying alot of rude words at the minute and i cant think where he got them from. I am a single mum, he is never around older boys, and i dont have a man around so he certainly hasnt heard them from me! Please help, worried mum nic x Any advice will be greatly accepted, i will not get offended if its not nice xi just want my son to be healthy and happy .

Have worked with many Aspergers clients. Your son's behavior, while distressing for you, sounds typical for this disorder. Is there a division of Child Mental Health in your area? He would benefit from having services to help him learn to express himself in a more appropriate manner and to process his feelings and fears. Possibly a Big Brother would be helpful.

he sees a psycologist under CAMMS thats the child mental heath department where i live, problem is they are almost impossiblle to get hold off, i ring and ring and never get a call back! mikey last seen someone at CAMMS about 6 months ago, i dont think we have big brothers over here, there isnt even a local support group i can attend or take him too (i have looked into this)
he is seeing his educational social worker tommorrow i may mention my fears to her hoprfully she can offer advice on the best course of action to take
thanks nic x
