Rheumatoid Arthritis

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. During weekdays, I take ultram for 3 to 4 a day. During weekends, I’m home so I just take other methods like napping, resting, meditation. But when the pain calls, I take half the ultram. And if the pain persists, Itake the other half and usually, that takes care of it. I am interested in herbal or acupuncture. Heard that they can help. Any info?'s picture

I am sorry you are in so much pain. This is common for Rheumatoid Arthritic sufferers. You didn't mention if you have seen a physician for medications to treat your arthritic for Ultram only treats the pain which is a symptom. If your physician prescribes medication to make sure your condition is stablized this should reduce the worst of the pain.

My husband has also been diagnosed with RA he has struggled with pain for over 2 years. He has been on low doses on chemo & percaset for the pain. He recently starte dthe humira injections and has been very happy with the results, he has increased mobility and the pain has eased up, so this may be a route you would look into!
