Hi there! I thought it wld be fun to share some good, healthy and simple recipes in an effort to bring variety to our tables. Here's one of mine that's easy and delicious.
PASTA W/ BROCCOLI, GARLIC & OIL
1 LB SPAGHETTI
1 BUNCH BROCCOLI, CHOPPED
8 CLOVES GARLIC, SLICED
FRESH GROUND PEPPER
GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
FILL A LARGE POT (3/4 FULL) W/ WATER. BRING TO A BOIL. CHOP BROCOLLI AND ADD TO WATER. COOK AT A LOW BOIL FOR 10 MINS. REMOVE BROCCOLI AND SET ASIDE. IN SAME WATER, ADD PASTA, AND BOIL UNTIL DONE. WHILE PASTA IS COOKING, SLICE GARLIC AND PLACE IN A SMALL PAN W/ OIL. USE JUST ENOUGH OIL TO COAT PASTA. SAUTE GARLIC UNTIL SOFT. DRAIN PASTA, THEN COMBINE IN POT W/ BROCCOLI, GARLIC AND OIL. TOP W/ FRESH GROUND PEPPER AND GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE.
