Hi All,

I have a sister inlaw that named her child LUX and that is how it is spelt haven't been able to work out the origin of this name but i do know and have seen a  washing machine soap flakes in a box at woolies called LUX SOAP FLAKES and their is also a soap actually called LUX hehehe i thought it was to funny when i heard she named her daughter LUX i hate to think what this gril will be treated like when she starts school. why are parents so cruel sometimes to name their children names knowing full well they will get teased at school.

Hi All ,

I named my eldest daughter Emmalee  just how it looks it is an old English spelling of the original (Emily) and my young son Jack which is a very old classic name and strong name plus cant get it shorter like i call my daughter Em some times.

My favorite name for a boy is Jobe and a girl is Makaylah.

for a gril i would say sabryna becuses it is a cute one.

for a boy i would say kyle cause it is cute too.

i love the name sally and ray. i dont know too many of them it just sounds more original than a name like jessica or john

I cautiously reply to this because anytime I start thinking about baby names I have one.(yes, I definately know how I get pregnant)  I'm up to six precious kids but I'll forge ahead anyway... ;).  I love all of my kid's names: Aubrey (girl), Briahna (girl), Austin (boy), Josiah (boy), Sydney (girl) and Caleb (boy).  I also like the name Jillian for a girl and either Adam Parker or Aiden or Ethan for a boy.

I am fascinated with the meaning of names as well as heritage.  My sons are Grady (Celtic--nobleman), Garrett (Celtic--warrior), and Gage (French--a pledge, a promise).  We are finished with babies, but would have loved to name a daughter Sadie or Cate or Calista.  I also love the name Isaac (laughter--hebrew) or Frances (??--free spirit)
