My wife really likes the name Luke, and I do to, but I think it sounds funny with my last name (Bruton). The u is long. My wife thinks I'm being crazy. What do you think?

I really like the name Luke and considered it as one of the names for my sons. Will is a strong name but not one of my favorites. I do see your point, though, w/ the long u sound. Did you choose a middle name yet? See how Luke sounds w/ the middle name. Also, have you considered Lucas or Luca? I agree, Will sounds best w/ your last name, but w/ the right middle name, Luke could work. Hope this helps. Best of luck w/ the new baby!

i agree with other comment maybe try Lukus. and perhaps with a good middle name maybe try a single sound name like james or something and it may mesh together beter.
