My nephew is Jamison, so am partial to this name. Jamie is cute for a little guy and Jamison is a strong adult name.

I like Jamison but you could spell it Jameson. Not too fond of Lincoln but Spencer is okay. I like Shelton and Braydon myself. I have no kids but those are my two of choice.

The three that you have choosen, well let's just say, no.

Anyname you pick, such as Todd, (biased selection)must be tendered with what the "other kids" in Elem, Middle and High School will call him if there's a nickname they can use. I'm afraid Spencer and Jamison sound like me, an old man.

Name him what you want, and don't let anyone else tell you which name is best.

If you really like those three names, keep them as a short list, and decide when you look at your baby for the first time.

The name will take on the personality of the child. My son played soccer with a boy named Lincoln, and he was a really cool kid. If the name flows well with your chosen middle name and your last name, use it.

Another thought... I didn't call either of my childen by their given names for the first few months of their lives. I had to get to know them before I could call them by name. My son was 'peanut' for a few months, and my daughter was 'little pea.' (To be clear, I had decided on their names, and named them, but I couldn't bring myself to call them by name).

When my son and d-i-l were looking for a name for my grandson they went to the top names for the previous year and ruled out the top 50 names. That way your child will be less likely to have the same name as a many of the children in his class.
